(10) — Questions

Good to know.

Are you the Swiss government?

No. Alpenpass is an independent private advisory. Visa and permit decisions are made only by the Swiss authorities — we prepare your file so it is complete and correct.

How long does a Schengen visa take?

Usually around 15 calendar days after your appointment, sometimes longer in peak season. You can apply up to six months before travel.

Can you guarantee approval?

Nobody can honestly guarantee a visa. What we guarantee is a complete, consistent and well-documented application — the biggest factor in a positive decision.

Do you translate my documents?

Yes. Certified translations into German, French, Italian or English, plus apostille and legalisation coordination.

Is my data safe?

Files are stored encrypted in Switzerland and deleted after your case closes, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
